When my system unexpectedly stopped working, Mike and his team stepped in immediately and handled everything with professionalism and care. He went above and beyond by working directly with the manufacturer to secure a replacement outdoor unit under warranty, and helped me navigate the need to replace the indoor unit due to the transition from R410 to R32 refrigerant. Not only did he explain everything clearly, but he also negotiated a reduced price on my behalf, which I truly appreciated. What really stood out was his level of customer care. During installation—on a very warm stretch of days—Mike personally brought over a floor unit to keep my home comfortable while the new system was being installed. That kind of thoughtfulness and dedication is rare. Mike’s communication, integrity, and commitment to his customers are second to none. I was extremely pleased with the service from Potomac HVAC. Initially, I was having them come as a second opinion to verify the findings of the first company and perhaps see if anything was missed. Mike was able to confirm the leak in my evaporator coil and also found an issue with the AC unit, which the first company did not find. They provided evidence for the findings and walked me through my options, including the pros and cons of fixing the entire system vs just what was broken. I never felt pressured to make one decision or the other and felt like the choice was mine. Their estimate was also much lower than the other company. I ended up going with them for my coil and AC replacement and I was very happy with the work and professionalism. They found an additional leak in a cable near the AC unit and fixed it for free. They even replaced some other aging components for free as well. As Mike stated, when we find something at this point, it is our problem, not yours. Finally, I had them take care of the permit/inspection process which was done quickly and seamlessly. Overall, I really felt their primary focus was on the customer and the work itself. I would recommend them to anyone with HVAC needs.

We live in North Potomac and recently had an issue with the heat pump. Luckily, my friend gave me phone number of Potomac HVAC. Mahdi came the same day, fixed the problem and inspected the system. We decided to replace the heat pump and AC. Mahdi and his colleague purchased new equipment and installed everything within two days. Two days later Mahdi came to check if everything works well. Excellent service. I highly recommend Potomac HVAC.

I contacted Potomac HVAC based on a family recommendation. Initially I wanted a second opinion regarding installing a new system but after meeting Mike I decided to go with his company, Potomac HVAC, instead of the company I had been using for years. Mike brought to my attention several issues with my last install, including the fact that my unit, which had been installed in 2022 by the other company, was built in 2015! I was unaware of that. He explained my options and spent a good amount of time - at 7 pm after work hours one evening -answering all my questions and sending me links for further research per my request. He and Kasra installed my new system professionally and promptly and I am very pleased with the results. It is clear that Mike enjoys what he does and takes pride in the quality of his work. Customer satisfaction matters a great deal to him and he follows up with phone calls and text messages. I highly recommend Potomac HVAC for their professionalism and customer satisfaction.

We couldn’t be more pleased with the exceptional service provided by Mike! When we encountered an issue with our heat pump, he responded to our call promptly and diagnosed the problem. Even when we faced additional issues later on, Mike went above and beyond by coming out at night to ensure our system was functioning perfectly.
